The Prime Minister and President reaffirmed their commitment to close cooperation between Canada and Mexico, and discussed progress being made towards the ratification of the new North American Free Trade Agreement.
The two leaders also discussed the importance of working together to create economic opportunities in both countries.

The Prime Minister reiterated Canada’s commitment to deeper engagement with ASEAN on a wide range of regional economic, political, and security issues. The two leaders exchanged views on how to expand bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
