The following GAIN reports were released on February 18, 2026. _______ China: China's Priorities in Agriculture and Rural Development in 2026 On February 3, 2026, Beijing released the annual No. 1 Document, outlining national strategies and measures related to agriculture and rural development. While food security remains the top priority, the focus has shifted from pursuing quantity increases to striving for improvements in quality. The document highlights the adoption of “new productive forces” such as artificial intelligence and robotics in agriculture. Additionally, it reiterates diversifying import sources and stresses the importance of coordinating agricultural imports with domestic production.

Ο Πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης συναντήθηκε, στο περιθώριο του AI Impact Summit στο Νέο Δελχί, με τον Πρωθυπουργό της Ινδίας Narendra Modi.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης οι δύο ηγέτες προχώρησαν σε συνολική επισκόπηση των διμερών σχέσεων και επιβεβαίωσαν το άριστο επίπεδο συνεργασίας, δύο χρόνια μετά την επίσημη επίσκεψη του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη στην Ινδία και δυόμισι μετά την αντίστοιχη επίσκεψη του κ. Modi στην Αθήνα, η οποία σηματοδότησε την αναβάθμιση των σχέσεων Ελλάδας-Ινδίας σε στρατηγική εταιρική σχέση.

Η Ελλάδα συμμετέχει, ενεργά, στη διαμόρφωση παγκόσμιου πλαισίου πολιτικής στην Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη ως συνδιαμορφωτής, αναβαθμίζοντας τον ρόλο της σε ζητήματα διεθνούς τεχνολογικής διακυβέρνησης.

Πέραν από παρέμβαση στη Σύνοδο, η οποία αποτελεί κεντρική διεθνή πρωτοβουλία για τη διαμόρφωση παγκόσμιου πλαισίου πολιτικής στην Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, με έμφαση στον μετρήσιμο κοινωνικό και αναπτυξιακό αντίκτυπο και τις συναντήσεις με εκπροσώπους κορυφαίων εταιρειών τεχνολογίας και αξιωματούχους, ο Πρωθυπουργός έχει σήμερα, σε λίγη ώρα, συνάντηση με τον Πρωθυπουργό της Ινδίας Ναρέντρα Μόντι.

At the latest GDT auction (17 Feb 2026), the general price index increased by 3.6%. with increases for: AMF (3.8%), Butter (10.7%), Lactose(7.8%), SMP (3%)& WMP (2.5%); and a decrease for Cheese(1%).
