Στη δύσκολη περίοδο που διανύουμε, υπάρχουν συνδημότες μας που είναι άποροι, μόνοι τους ή που αδυνατούν να έχουν ένα ζεστό πιάτο φαγητό. Ο Δήμος Αχαρνών σε συνεργασία με την Περιφέρεια Αττικής θα διανείμει έτοιμα μαγειρεμένα γεύματα σε ατομικές συσκευασίες τόσο το Μεγάλο Σάββατο όσο και την Κυριακή του Πάσχα. Πρόκειται για 1600 μερίδες μαγειρίτσα και αντίστοιχες μερίδες την Κυριακή με Αρνί και πατάτες, αυγά τσουρέκια και όλα όσο έχει το παραδοσιακό Πασχαλιάτικο τραπέζι.

Scholarship Opportunities for Master’s Degree Programs
at The Cyprus Institute
The Cyprus Institute is pleased to announce that applications are still open for its Master’s degree programs for Fall 2020 admission. The Institute will offer various financial aid opportunities, including merit-based scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year in the following programs:

• Digital Cultural Heritage, MSc
• Environmental Sciences, MSc/MPhil
• Simulation and Data Science, MSc

The Cyprus Institute Graduate School maintains a small number of students that are fully integrated into the research activities of the institute. This provides the students with the opportunity to acquire hands-on training in the use of the latest methods and techniques, have access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and conduct research with internationally recognized research teams.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Scholarships towards tuition fees are offered based on academic excellence, qualifications and interest in the respective program of study. The Institute is also offering additional financial aid opportunities towards students’ living expenses.
APPLICATIONS
Holders of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field are eligible to apply. Undergraduate applicants who are expected to obtain a university degree before the start of the graduate program may also apply. The language of instruction of the programs is English, and interested applicants must provide proof of good command of the English language. Please refer to our website www.cyi.ac.cy for details.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
The regular application deadline is April 15, 2020 (for all students) and late application deadline is July 15, 2020 (for students from European Union countries). Please refer to our website www.cyi.ac.cy for important information pertaining to each application deadline.

The programs are accredited by The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA) and comply with the Bologna Process Second Cycle Degree Guidelines.

5 απαντήσεις στο σημερινό πρωτοσέλιδο της Εφημερίδας των Συντακτών

Διαβάσαμε με έκπληξη το σημερινό πρωτοσέλιδο της Εφημερίδας των Συντακτών περί μονοπωλίου στην τουριστική προβολή της χώρας.

Είναι κρίμα που ο ανώνυμος συντάκτης του άρθρου δεν επικοινώνησε μαζί μας γιατί θα είχε πάρει τις απαντήσεις στα ερωτήματα που με τόση αγωνία θέτει.

Απάντηση πρώτη. Η συνεργασία του ιδιωτικού τομέα με το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού, ιδιαίτερα σε θέματα προβολής και διαφήμισης της χώρας  αποτελούσε προεκλογική δέσμευση της κυβέρνησης της ΝΔ. Απόφαση που  υλοποιείται στην παρούσα φάση και αποτελεί πρακτική  που εφαρμόζεται με μεγάλη επιτυχία σε χώρες όπως η Γαλλία που ο φορέας προβολής της χώρας αποτελεί σύμπραξη δημόσιου και ιδιωτικού τομέα.

-Απάντηση δεύτερη.  Η  συνεργασία Υπουργείου, ΕΟΤ, marketing Greece έχει ήδη δοκιμασθεί και έχει φέρει ως αποτέλεσμα  την πλατφόρμα #greecefromhome. Μια πλατφόρμα που χαίρει παγκόσμιας αναγνώρισης και εγκωμιαστικών σχολίων για την καινοτομία και την ανθρωποκεντρική της προσέγγιση.

-Απάντηση τρίτη. Δε δημιουργείται κανένα μονοπώλιο – όπως ανησυχεί η Εφ.ΣΥΝ- αφού η Marketing Greece συνεργάζεται με εταιρείες της τουριστικής αγοράς για την υλοποίηση και την προώθηση της τουριστικής προβολής.  Πρωτοβουλίες που έχει πάρει ως τώρα όπως το discovergreece δείχνουν πως καινοτομεί και λειτουργεί πάντα υπέρ της τουριστικής ανάπτυξης.

Επομένως δεν πρόκειται για διαφημιστική εταιρεία αλλά για οργανισμό προβολής της χώρας που συνεργάζεται με διαφημιστικές εταιρείες, όπως ακριβώς και ο ΕΟΤ.

--Απάντηση τέταρτη. Η εταιρεία – σε αντίθεση με όσα γράφει ο συγγραφέας του άρθρου - με βάση το καταστατικό της δεν είναι κερδοσκοπική.  Στηρίζεται σε δωρεές και συνεργασίες εταιρειών του τουριστικού κλάδου με σκοπό την προβολή προορισμών σε τοπικό κυρίως επίπεδο  με μόνο όφελος την προώθηση του τουρισμού και συνεπώς την ενίσχυση των τουριστικών επιχειρήσεων. 

 - Απάντηση Πέμπτη.

Και κάτι τελευταίο γιατί η μνήμη κάποιων είναι «κοντή». Θυμίζουμε

ότι δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που η Marketing Greece συμπράττει με το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού.

Συνέβη 2 φορές επί κυβέρνησης ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.

Το καλοκαίρι του 2015 για την καμπάνια happening now και την άνοιξη του 2019 για το Oh my Greece, με πραγματικά εξαιρετικά αποτελέσματα.

Οι πρωτοφανείς συνθήκες που επικρατούν, επιβάλλουν τη δημιουργία ενός ενιαίου μηνύματος από το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού, τον ΕΟΤ, τον ιδιωτικό τομέα, τους ΟΤΑ, τις Περιφέρειες.

Η πρωτοβουλία αυτή υπηρετεί  τον σκοπό αυτό  και τίποτε άλλο. Υπηρετεί την ταχύτερη ανάκτηση του χαμένου εδάφους.

Αυτό εξάλλου επιβάλλει το αίσθημα ευθύνης μας απέναντι στους 700.000  εργαζόμενους και τις δεκάδες χιλιάδες επιχειρήσεις που εξαρτώνται από την επιτυχία της στρατηγικής μας για τον Τουρισμό.

Η επιτυχία αυτή χωρίζει για καθέναν από αυτούς την ανεργία από την πρόσληψη.

AHEPA encourages your participation in the 2020 U.S. Census, announced Supreme President George G. Horiates.   It is part of our civic duty to participate in the U.S. Census. It is important to do so for a couple of reasons.   First, community-based organizations such as AHEPA, rely on accurate census data to ensure that its constituency is represented properly. On a larger scale, census results will help communities receive federal funding for hospitals, schools, and emergency services.
