Highlights
EU butter prices: 525 €/100 kg, +4.6% up in last 4 weeks;
EU SMP prices: 313 €/100 kg, +4.3% up in last 4 weeks;
EU WMP prices: 392 €/100 kg, +6.3% up in last 4 weeks;
EU cheddar prices: 331 €/100 kg, +0.2% up in last 4 weeks;
Increase of feed costs (+2.7%) but decrease of energy costs (-1.5%) in week 47 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
IT spot milk price up, now at 47.8 c/kg. (28/11/2021);
EU milk deliveries in Jan. – Sept. 2021 at the same level as last year (+0.3% leap year adjusted)
Decreases of milk products production in Jan.-Sept. 2021: butter (-1.3%), SMP (-3.6%), WMP (-10.1%), fermented milk (-2%) and drinking milk (-0.5%) and increases for: cheese (+2.3%), cream (+1.8%), condensed (+3.8%).
