Foreign Affairs Council (Trade), 25-29 February 2024 The Foreign Affairs Council, in its Trade configuration, will be held on the margins of the 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Trade ministers will seek the approval of conclusions at both the start and the end of the conference. They will also aim to adopt a decision on the position to be taken on behalf of the EU at the MC13. Read more

NATO update

 

Allied forces gather for exercise Steadfast Defender 2024 NATO forces are on the move for Steadfast Defender 2024, the Alliance’s largest exercise in decades. The purpose of Steadfast Defender 2024 is to put NATO’s new regional defence plans to the test. With forces practising rapid deployment and combat in both Norway and Poland, Allies are proving their ability to command and control large ground, air and sea forces across significant distances. DisasterAssistance.gov is a federal website with the mission to provide disaster survivors with information, support, services, and a means to access and apply for disaster relief. Managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), DisasterAssistance.gov can help connect you with resources for shelter, financial assistance, nutrition assistance, and other basic needs following a disaster or emergency event.

TTB Virtual Listening Sessions

Reminder: Virtual Public Listening Sessions Next Week As announced in Notice No. 232, TTB is holding two virtual listening sessions on February 28 and 29, 2024, to receive input from the public on labeling of wine, distilled spirits, and malt beverages to disclose per-serving alcohol and nutritional information, major food allergens, and/or ingredients. The scheduled speaker positions for both listening sessions are now filled. The waitlist for Session 1 is now closed. If you are interested in speaking, please register to be placed on the waitlist for Session 2.
