In line with the conference’s theme of “Challenges and Achievements of the National Nutrition Strategy in Lao PDR,” team members presented posters, gave keynote addresses, and placed first, second, and third in the oral presentation competition. Opportunities | | New Deadline for 2024 CARISCA Call for Papers: February 29, 2024 The Center for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain-Africa (CARISCA) has extended the deadline for submitting paper proposals for the 2024 Supply Chain Research Summit until Thursday, February 29th. They welcome and encourage scholarly and policy-based submissions that generate ideas and solutions for enhancing supply chain resilience for economic transformation in Africa. Apply for the Science for Development Fellowship In December 2023, USAID launched the Science for Development Fellowships program (SDF), a new two-year experiential professional development opportunity for American scientists and engineers. As fellows, they’ll work at USAID and apply their expertise and research skills to inform the U.S. government’s international development activities and support their success. As generators of high-quality evidence, innovators in bringing evidence to bear in practice, and champions of locally led evidence ecosystems, we are eager to hear from you during our open call for guest session abstracts.
