| Athens is rolling in 205 new buses next month, including 125 electric ones, with another 201 expected by the end of 2026, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport says. By 2028, the active fleet will hit 2,000 vehicles, roughly 1,700 of them brand-new, backed by €290 million in EU and national funding. All older Euro 2 buses will be retired in the process. |
