Over two days they exchanged insights and shaped future priorities on three of the most pressing cardiovascular challenges – obesity, ageing populations, and environmental factors. Read more.   European policy engagement rises as ESC Spring Summit drives action on cardiovascular health   Last week we welcomed Adam Jarubas MEP, Chair of the European Parliament’s Public Health Committee (SANT), to our annual ESC Spring Summit, underlining the increasing recognition that cardiovascular disease (CVD) must be treated as a top tier political priority. Mr. Jarubas stated that "The EU Safe Hearts Plan is a priority of this parliament. When a 40-year-old warehouse worker in Kielce can expect the same healthy life-years as a manager in Malmö, we will know we have succeeded.
