Meeting of NATO Ministers of Defence: Doorstep statement by NATO Secretary General and arrivals of Ministers NATO Defence Ministers are meeting in Brussels today 13 February 2025) to begin preparations for the NATO Summit in The Hague in June. NATO Defence Ministers to address defence spending, industrial capacity, support to Ukraine NATO Defence Ministers will meet in Brussels tomorrow (13 February 2025) to begin preparations for the NATO Summit in The Hague in June. Previewing the meeting today, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte highlighted the ongoing progress in defence spending. Ministers will also focus on strengthening defence industrial capacity. NATO's support to Ukraine and Russia's destabilising actions against NATO Allies will also be addressed by Ministers. NATO Deputy Secretary General to visit Poland On Monday, 17 February 2025,the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms Radmila Shekerinska, will visit Bydgoszcz, Poland, to attend the opening ceremony of the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC). Ms Shekerinska will also meet the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Mr Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Ms Olha Stefanishyna.
