Photo Credit: Myesha Green USAID at ISEF The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) took place from May 11 to May 17.USAID's Research Division of the Innovation, Technology, and Research Hub was proud to participate as a Special Award Organization for the 10th year in a row! ISEF is the world's largest international pre-college science competition, bringing over 1,700 students from 68 countries. This year USAID was thrilled to recognize students whose projects have the potential to impact current and future international development challenges with the "Science for Development Award" in the following categories: Global Health and Nutrition; Education and Youth; Climate and Environmental Protection; and Working in Crisis and Conflict. Photo Credit: PERU Hub PERU Hub Host's Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation Workshop (CLA) In April 2024, the USAID-supported BRIDGE PERU- Hub hosted a Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation workshop to review what the program has learned during its first two years. The three-day workshop brought together PERU Hub staff from the Lima and Tarapoto offices and PERÚ-Hub partners from various universities. Innovation, the use of technology, the circular economy, and other topics, were discussed to allow attendees to propose new strategies to sustain the project's impacts. Learn more about the workshop.
