Looking back at the Open Data Day On Saturday 5 March, the annual international Open Data Day took place. This day celebrated open data by hosting 146 local events all over the world. By creating awareness around open data and its benefits, the initiative aims to encourage governments, businesses, and the public worldwide to adopt open data policies and inspire others to do the same. Unique about this year’s Open Data Day was that mini grants were given to communities that work on environmental data, tracking public money flows, open mapping, data for equal development, and ocean data for a thriving planet. For more upcoming events visit our the events calendar.
The data.europa academy training session on “Data and Metadata Quality” On 24 February, the data.europa academy hosted a training session on "Data and Metadata Quality".
