The current precautionary measures do not affect work on legislative priorities. Core activities are maintained to ensure the smooth running of the institution's legislative, budgetary, and scrutiny functions. The meetings allow for remote participation in a virtual environment.

The Conference on the Future of Europe returned to the European Parliament in Strasbourg this weekend. Representatives from two of the four European Citizens’ Panels and national Citizens’ Panels championed their recommendations on how to improve the EU. Topics covered were European democracy, values and rights, rule of law and security; and climate change, the environment and health.
