ΟΒΑΜΑ news:A look back at our summer

Hi there, As we get ready to send off summer in Chicago, we’re looking back at a few highlights from the sunny season. Whether it was a look at some of our neighbors working to improve our city or the story behind an Obama keepsake, we’re ending the season full of inspiration. We hope you are too! We met four of our neighbors who, through art, science, mechanics, and medicine, are teaching young people across Chicago that their potential is limitless. These women embody our belief that we all have a role to play in building the world we want to see. Take a look at the ways these four women are making a difference in Chicago. Obama Keepsakes From Inauguration tickets to old newspapers—and even Obama family nesting dolls—Chicagoans shared their memorabilia with us during our first community collection event. Do you have your own Obama keepsakes? Tell us about your mementos. Earlier this summer, we released our second annual report. It shows how much we’ve grown in the last two years, the campus we’re working to build, and most importantly, the inspiring stories of emerging leaders who are at the heart of the Foundation’s work. Check out the 2018 Annual Report.   Summer might be ending, but our work is just beginning. Donate today to empower the leaders of tomorrow. DONATE
