Montreal AHEPA Family Partners with NHL All-Star's Foundation, Raises $134,000 for Children's Hospital The AHEPA Family Charitable Foundation of Canada and the Montreal AHEPA Family hosted the 20th Annual St. Valentine's Ball in support of the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, Feb. 8. The AHEPA family entities partnered with P.K. Subban's Helping Hands Foundation to raise $134,000 for the hospital. It was the first time P.K. Subban's foundation partnered with an association or community group. Since its inception, the annual gala has raised $1.020 million for Montreal-area hospitals and children's charities.  In addition to Supreme President George E. AHEPA Mourns Passing of PSG John Mehos AHEPA is saddened with news of the passing of Past Supreme Governor John Mehos. Brother Mehos, of Jersey City, N.J., passed away Feb. 5, 2019. He was 89. Brother Mehos was a 53-year Life Member of Hudson Chapter 108, Jersey City, where he served the chapter is every capacity. Eventually, he served as District 5 Governor, and in 1999-2000, he served as Supreme Governor. Brother Mehos was also an Archon of the Order of Saint Andrew.  "Brother Mehos was an outstanding and beloved Ahepan, devoted member of the community, and a true gentleman," Supreme President George E. Loucas, said. "His passing will leave a tremendous void, and he will be missed. Our sympathies are with the Mehos family. May his memory be eternal."  Brother Mehos' obituary U.S. Rep. Walter Jones Passes Away AHEPA mourns the passing of U.S. Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC). He was 76. Congressman Jones was a 19-year member of Cape Fear Chapter 408, Wilmington, N.C.
