Ομιλία Νίκου Ανδρουλάκη, Προέδρου ΠΑΣΟΚ-Κινήματος Αλλαγής στη Βουλή

Κυρίες και κύριοι συνάδελφοι,

Πριν από μια εβδομάδα, από το ίδιο βήμα, είχα υπογραμμίσει ότι αυτή η Κυβέρνηση έχει έλλειψη οράματος και σχεδίου. Και για αυτό έχει δημιουργήσει τεράστιες νέες ανισότητες, δεν έχει δημιουργήσει τις συνθήκες μιας ανταγωνιστικής οικονομίας και μιας ανθεκτικής κοινωνίας.

Και το παρόν νομοσχέδιο αποδεικνύει ακριβώς αυτό: Πεντέμισι χρόνια χαμένου χρόνου, χαμένων ευκαιριών που δυστυχώς πληρώνει ακριβά ο ελληνικός λαός.

Αποψιλώνετε περαιτέρω τις αρμοδιότητες της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης. Οι εξουσίες σε εσάς, οι ευθύνες στην Αυτοδιοίκηση. Και σε αυτή την περίπτωση η πρωτοβουλία σας γίνεται χωρίς καμία διάθεση διαβούλευσης.

Το μήνυμα για τον κόσμο της Αυτοδιοίκησης είναι καθαρό: το «επιτελικό» κράτος του Μεγάρου Μαξίμου θέλει την Αυτοδιοίκηση ελεγχόμενη, να λειτουργεί ως το μακρύ του χέρι στις κοινωνίες.

Σήμερα λοιπόν έρχεστε με καταργήσεις και συνενώσεις των Φορέων Διαχείρισης Απορριμμάτων στις Περιφέρειες Κρήτης, Βορείου Αιγαίου, Δυτικής Ελλάδας και Θεσσαλίας. Μεταφέρετε βασικές εξουσίες της αυτοδιοίκησης στον εκάστοτε Γενικό Γραμματέα του Υπουργείου Περιβάλλοντος και Ενέργειας, πρωτοβουλίες που συνιστούν μνημείο απαξίωσης της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης.

Ενημερωτικό σημείωμα για τη συμμετοχή του Πρωθυπουργού Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη στην τετραμερή συνάντηση κορυφής Ελλάδας-Γαλλίας-Κύπρου-Λιβάνου, σ...28 Μαρτίου 2025

Ο Πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης είχε συνάντηση στο Μέγαρο των Ηλυσίων με τον Πρόεδρο της Γαλλίας Emmanuel Macron, τον Πρόεδρο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας Νίκο Χριστοδουλίδη, τον Πρόεδρο του Λιβάνου Joseph Aoun και τον μεταβατικό Πρόεδρο της Συρίας Ahmed al-Sharaa, ο οποίος συμμετείχε μέσω τηλεδιάσκεψης.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της πολυμερούς συνάντησης συζητήθηκαν οι τρέχουσες εξελίξεις στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο και τη Μέση Ανατολή με έμφαση στα ζητήματα ασφάλειας, μετανάστευσης, διασυνδεσιμότητας και ενέργειας.

Ο Πρωθυπουργός έδωσε ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις προκλήσεις ασφαλείας που αντιμετωπίζει η περιοχή, καθώς και στην κοινή πρόκληση του προσφυγικού και μεταναστευτικού ζητήματος, ιδιαίτερα για τον Λίβανο, που δέχεται αυξημένες πιέσεις στα σύνορα με τη Συρία, αλλά και την Κύπρο.

Prime Minister Carney speaks with President of the United States Donald J. Trump

Today, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, spoke with the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. The Prime Minister and the President had a very constructive conversation about the relationship between our two countries.

The leaders agreed to begin comprehensive negotiations about a new economic and security relationship immediately following the election. In the interim, the leaders agreed that conversations between the Minister of International Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, Dominic LeBlanc, and the United States Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, will intensify to address immediate concerns.

The Prime Minister told the President that he would be working hard for the next month to earn the right to represent Canada in those discussions.

The Prime Minister informed the President that his government will implement retaliatory tariffs to protect Canadian workers and our economy, following the announcement of additional U.S. trade actions on April 2, 2025.

Prime Minister Carney meets with premiers to discuss Canada’s response to U.S. tariffs

Today, Prime Minister Mark Carney met virtually with provincial and territorial premiers to discuss Canada’s co-ordinated response to the United States’ unjustified tariffs against Canadian goods, including the recently announced U.S. tariffs on imported automobiles and auto-parts. The Prime Minister was joined by the Minister of International Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, Dominic LeBlanc.

Canada’s First Ministers stand united against this unjustified U.S. trade action and are committed to defending Canadian businesses, workers, and families affected by this threat.

Prime Minister Carney updated the premiers on his conversation with the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, earlier today. The Prime Minister and the premiers discussed the path forward to respond to the evolving tariff threat by strengthening the Canadian economy, including through work to unlock economic projects and remove interprovincial trade barriers. Prime Minister Carney underscored the Government of Canada’s resolve to continue fighting against the unjust tariffs and protect Canadians.

Prime Minister Carney committed to continuing to convene with the premiers in the weeks ahead.
