On Friday, 11 February 2022, the EESC's FRRL Group, in cooperation with the European Commission, will organise a conference entitled "Safeguarding fundamental rights in the digital age". The event will be centred on the Commission's annual report on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, which this year focuses on fundamental rights in the digital age. The conference will particularly discuss the fundamental rights implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the management of social media platforms.   Please find the draft agenda here. The event will be a hybrid one. Interested external participants are invited to join online. Your participation and input are most welcome! You can register online until Wednesday 9 February at 12:00/noon, at this link. Increase of feed costs (+1.7%) and energy costs (+13.3%) in week 2 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
IT spot milk price slightly down, now at 44 c/kg. (16/01/2022);

Το παλαιό και διαχρονικό θέμα του Νοσοκομείου στην Ανατολική Αττική επαναφέρει με ερώτησή του προς τον Υπουργό Υγείας ο Βουλευτής Ανατολικής Αττικής κ. Γιώργος Βλάχος.
Συγκεκριμένα αναφέρει ότι η συνεχιζόμενη πληθυσμιακή έκρηξη στην Ανατολική Αττική, δημιουργεί όλο και περισσότερες ανάγκες σε επίπεδο νοσοκομειακής υγείας και ερωτά αν είναι στους στόχους της πολιτικής του Υπουργείου η δημιουργία Νοσοκομείου στην Ανατολική Αττική, σε ποιο βαθμό ο επανασχεδιασμός παροχής νοσοκομειακής υγείας αφορά την Ανατολική Αττική και αν υπάρχει χρονοδιάγραμμα για τις σχεδιαζόμενες αλλαγές;

Δεν θα σχολιάσουμε ούτε το σκεπτικό (λόγω της ακρίβειας κλπ) ...ούτε την τροπολογία που φαίνεται να είναι γραμμένη στο πόδι... ούτε ότι τους ψάχναμε 2 μήνες να υποστηρίξουν την τροπολογία που καταθέσαμε εμείς.
