The Danish presidency of the Council of the European Union will organise in Copenhagen an informal meeting of research ministers 16 and 17 July. The main topic of the informal meeting will be the contribution of research and innovation to the European competitiveness, including the importance of critical technologies. This informal council will be followed by the meeting of internal market and industry ministers on 17 and 18 July. The main topic of this council will be 'Building a Europe of Tomorrow - Sustainable, Innovative and Competitive'. The meeting will address issues such as developing Europe's industrial base, promoting critical technologies and accelerating innovation. Accreditation can be obtained via the accreditation platform of the Danish EU presidency.
