Hollister.   "The luncheon presents a special opportunity to recognize Hellenes who excel in their individual sports or who display excellence in the classroom, on the field of athletics and volunteerism within their respective communities," Hollister said. "We congratulate our honorees.  They are committed to perpetuating and promoting these ideals, which are all part of our mission." Congressional Hellenic Caucus Membership is 126.   Help It Grow.   Although Congress is heading into the homestretch of the 115th Congress, there is still plenty of time to increase the membership of the Congressional Caucus on Hellenic Issues. AHEPA asks for your help. The Hellenic Caucus has been an active, bipartisan group in Congress since its founding in 1995.  It is co-chaired by U.S. Reps. "I put to the Turkish president this increase in Turkish violations in the Aegean .. The 13-year veteran earned his first All-Star appearance, receiving the second most votes among National League players. He'll man right field and hit seventh in Tuesday's extravaganza.  read more   Αuthor and Μusicologist Christopher King Talks to TNH about the Music of Epirus The National Herald (July 15)      Lament From Epirus: An Odyssey into Europe's Oldest Folk Music by Christopher King was published in May 2018.  The author and musicologist spoke with The National Herald about the book, his love of the music of Epirus, and his upcoming work.  Over the last seven years, King has been researching Greek folk music with particular emphasis on the music of Epirus. When asked about the writing process, he told TNH that Lament from Epirus took about two and a half years of drafting and travel plus the prior years of research. read more
