AHEPA E-News
AHEPA's e-News will take a hiatus for the holidays.
We will return for our 15th year on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
We're grateful to our readers!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Season's Greetings!
From the Desk of the Supreme President
Dear Brothers, AHEPA Family, and Friends,
Happy Holidays! On behalf of the AHEPA family, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May peace and joy be yours this Holiday Season and throughout the New Year.
We are grateful for your support of our mission during what has been a most challenging and adverse year. During this Season of Giving, please remember to keep our mission in mind with a tax-deductible gift to one of AHEPA's charitable giving entities. We appreciate the tremendous outpouring we have received from our appeals to support our Century Capital Campaign, most recently in November. However, our campaign goal to increase AHEPA's endowment to $10 million by our 100th anniversary in 2022 is a bold and ambitious one--and one that needs your support.
To propel our Century Capital Campaign, we have launched the Centennial Legacy Program. Contact our Global Headquarters for more information. And more to come in 2021.
Separately, if you're looking for a last-minute gift, please consider the gift of AHEPA membership. Give the gift of being a part of a storied American Hellenic institution with a proud legacy.
Please help us to sustain our heritage, good works, and community service programs that lend to the fulfillment of our Order's worthy mission and to the betterment of our society.
Visit www.ahepa.org for more information. Thank you!
Fraternally,
George G. Horiates

Sons of Pericles, Daughters of Penelope
announce cookbook project
With the world in disarray, there remain a few constants, especially in a Greek's life: Food and the AHEPA Family --Greek cuisine has stood the test of time, similar to the AHEPA Family, whenever we need to feel better, take care of our family, or bring our loved ones and friends comfort in trying times. The Sons of Pericles and Daughters of Penelope are calling upon our brothers and sisters to come together and share your favorite recipes that bring good memories and consolation, in hopes we can spread the love and presence of the AHEPA Family; especially during this holiday season.
Visit sonsofpericles.org/recipesubmission to share your recipes for our collaborative cookbook so we can remind each other we are still here, still cooking, and still family.
A family who eats together, stays together!

100th anniversary member data project underway
AHEPA recently launched a comprehensive 100th Anniversary member data verification project, announced Supreme President George G. Horiates.
"We are requesting all members of AHEPA to contact us for this important project and encourage you to be a part of the Centennial celebrations," Horiates said, adding that members should have received an email with detailed instruction this week. "We've assembled the information currently listed in our member files and now need your help to confirm the accuracy of your data and fill in any information gaps."
Up-to-date member information is critical in helping AHEPA promote the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, family and individual excellence through community service and volunteerism. That's why it's so important to call.
Please call 1-888-827-6103 (toll-free) to take care of this important matter today.
