Crete won the crown of the best family-friendly holiday destinations for Irish families, according to a study published by insurance provider Chill Insurance.

The company’s experts analyzed flight durations, the availability of family-friendly hotels, average accommodation costs for a one-week stay, and meal prices in popular holiday destinations to identify the best and worst options for family travel in 2025.

Boasting 300 family-friendly hotels, 14 hours of daily sunshine, and average temperatures of 22°C between April and August, Crete ranks as the top family holiday destination.....

Ελληνογερμανικές ημερίδες ενημέρωσης e-ΕΦΚΑ &  DRV στην Αθήνα από 20.05.2025 εώς 22.05.2025

Η Διοίκηση του e-ΕΦΚΑ ανακοινώνει τη διεξαγωγή ημερίδων ενημέρωσης για πολίτες που έχουν ασφαλιστεί στην Γερμανία και την Ελλάδα και επιθυμούν να πληροφορηθούν για το ισχύον συνταξιοδοτικό καθεστώς και τα δικαιώματα συνταξιοδότησής τους, τόσο από γερμανικής, όσο και από ελληνικής πλευράς. 

Οι ενημερωτικές ημερίδες θα πραγματοποιηθούν στην Αθήνα, από 20/05/2025 έως 22/05/2025, 08:00 - 15:00, στο ξενοδοχείο FRESH HOTEL επί της οδού Αθηνάς 59, 10552 στην Αθήνα. 

Τα ραντεβού για ασφαλισμένους που έχουν λάβει σχετική προσωπική πρόσκληση από τον γερμανικό φορέα θα κλείνονται από 28 Απριλίου 2025 έως 12 Mαΐου 2025  καθημερινά, από 09:00 έως 15:00, στο τηλέφωνο 210 6783656. 

Η ενημέρωση θα αφορά την ατομική περίπτωση κάθε ασφαλισμένου ξεχωριστά και θα πραγματοποιείται από εκπροσώπους των γερμανικών φορέων συντάξεων Deutsche Rentenversicherung και του e-ΕΦΚΑ. 

Η ως άνω διαδικασία έχει καθιερωθεί κατόπιν συμφωνίας μεταξύ των ελληνικών και γερμανικών φορέων συντάξεων στα πλαίσια της συνεργασίας των δύο χωρών και αποτελεί πρότυπο εξυπηρέτησης του πολίτη-ασφαλισμένου και μέσο άσκησης της δημόσιας διοίκησης με διαφάνεια και αποτελεσματικότητα.

Ημερομηνίες πληρωμής των συντάξεων μηνός Ιουνίου 2025

Οι ημερομηνίες πληρωμής ακολουθούν τον κανόνα του διαχωρισμού μεταξύ Μισθωτών και Μη Μισθωτών και διαμορφώνονται ως ακολούθως:

• Την Τρίτη 27 Μαΐου 2025 θα καταβληθούν οι κύριες συντάξεις από τα τέως ταμεία Μη Μισθωτών ΟΑΕΕ, ΟΓΑ και ΕΤΑΑ, οι κύριες συντάξεις που απονεμήθηκαν από τη σύσταση του ΕΦΚΑ και μετά, με τον ν.4387/2016, μέσω του ΟΠΣ-ΕΦΚΑ (συνταξιούχοι Μισθωτοί & Μη Μισθωτοί από 1.1.2017 και έπειτα) και όλες οι επικουρικές συντάξεις του ιδιωτικού τομέα (Μη Μισθωτών και Μισθωτών).
• Την Πέμπτη 29 Μαΐου 2025 θα καταβληθούν οι κύριες συντάξεις των τέως Ταμείων Μισθωτών [ΙΚΑ-ΕΤΑΜ, τραπεζών, ΟΤΕ, ΔΕΗ, ΛΟΙΠΩΝ ΕΝΤΑΣΣΟΜΕΝΩΝ (ΤΣΕΑΠΓΣΟ, ΤΣΠ-ΗΣΑΠ), ΝΑΤ, ΕΤΑΤ και ΕΤΑΠ-ΜΜΕ] καθώς και οι κύριες και οι επικουρικές συντάξεις του Δημοσίου.

The following GAIN reports were released on May 8, 2025. _______   Bulgaria: Direct Versus Indirect Trade - Bulgaria's Market for US Agricultural Exports In 2024, Bulgarian imports from the United States were nearly $100 million, slightly lower than in 2023, but still up over 50 percent since 2019. Imports of U.S. products were driven by several product groups such as U.S. beef, tree and ground nuts, food preparations, whiskies, essential oils, and rubber. The U.S. Census Bureau’s (USCB) export data tracks U.S. food and agricultural trade shipped directly to Bulgaria. However, it does not measure the substantial level of U.S. agricultural trade to Bulgaria routed through other European ports of entry, mainly in Western Europe. According to U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. suppliers exported $32.6 million of U.S. food, beverages and agricultural products to Bulgaria in 2024, at the same level as in 2023. However, when including indirect shipments, the total number rises to $99 million.
