Secretary General: “Luxembourg is at the forefront of NATO’s innovation agenda” Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed Prime Minister Xavier Bettel to NATO Headquarters on 27 April 2023, praising Luxembourg for its role “at the forefront of NATO’s innovation agenda, leading our work on space surveillance and investing in critical satellite capabilities.” Mr Stoltenberg also thanked the Prime Minister for Luxembourg’s contribution to NATO’s multinational battlegroup in Romania, and for the country’s strong support to the Alliance’s climate change and security agenda. Ν. Ανδρουλάκης: Η κυβέρνηση του κ. Μητσοτάκη περιφρονεί τους πολίτες

Τις θέσεις του ΠΑΣΟΚ – Κινήματος Αλλαγής για ζητήματα όπως το ιδιωτικό χρέος, η αύξηση του κόστους στέγασης, η Υγεία και η Παιδεία, σε αντιδιαστολή με τα πεπραγμένα της ΝΔ και του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ παρουσίασε ο Πρόεδρος του ΠΑΣΟΚ – Κινήματος Αλλαγής Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης, κατά την περιοδεία του στη Νέα Σμύρνη. «Προτεραιότητα της δημοκρατικής παράταξης είναι ο λαός ενωμένος να αντιμετωπίσει τις προκλήσεις του σήμερα, όχι με φτηνά δίπολα, ψευτοεκβιασμούς και θεωρίες συνωμοσίας», είπε, τονίζοντας την ανάγκη μίας ουσιώδους συζήτησης για τη δημιουργία μιας ανθεκτικής οικονομίας, ανταγωνιστικής σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο κι ενός ισχυρού κοινωνικού κράτους που θα μειώσει τις ανισότητες και θα δημιουργήσει τις συνθήκες μιας βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης, δίνοντας ευκαιρίες σε όλα τα Ελληνόπουλα. «Αυτή τη συζήτηση αποφεύγουν ο κ. Μητσοτάκης και ο κ. Τσίπρας, οι οποίοι έλεγαν ότι δεν έχουμε θέσεις, αλλά αποδεικνύεται ότι οι δικές τους θέσεις είναι μόνο οι καρέκλες για τις οποίες αγωνιούν», είπε. Απορρίπτοντας το παιχνίδι της πόλωσης και της φθηνής επικοινωνίας, τόνισε πως: «Έχω χρέος να μιλήσω με ευθύτητα, με ρεαλισμό, με μόνο κίνητρο μία καλύτερη ζωή για όλους τους Έλληνες. Αυτή είναι η αξία της πολιτικής και όχι να κάνουμε επικοινωνία για την επικοινωνία». Υπενθύμισε πως το ΠΑΣΟΚ οικοδόμησε ό,τι σωστό υπάρχει σε αυτήν την πατρίδα, σε επίπεδο κοινωνικού κράτους, αξιοκρατίας, διαφάνειας, ΑΣΕΠ, Διαύγειας, ΕΣΥ, δημοσίων πανεπιστημίων, υποδομών, μετρό, αεροδρομίων. «Εμπιστευθείτε μας διότι έχουμε υψηλό δείκτη και αξιοπιστίας και γνώσης για να οικοδομήσουμε την Ελλάδα του πραγματικού 21ου αιώνα και όχι την Ελλάδα του παρακράτους, των υποκλοπών, του ρουσφετιού, της διχόνοιας, της τοξικότητας, των παρακρατικών μηχανισμών στα social media που ισοπεδώνουν προσωπικότητες, ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και διάκριση εξουσιών».

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will travel to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Vietnam, and Japan, April 11-18, 2023.

Secretary Blinken will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam to advance key discussions with our Vietnamese partners as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Comprehensive Partnership. The Secretary will meet with senior Vietnamese officials to discuss our shared vision of a connected, prosperous, peaceful, and resilient Indo-Pacific region.

Secretary Blinken will then travel to Karuizawa, Japan to attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and discuss with his counterparts charting a path forward on a range of global issues, including Russia’s continued war against Ukraine, nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, food and energy security, and advancing an affirmative vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific.

In advance of the Secretary’s trip to Asia, he will accompany President Biden on his trip to the United Kingdom and Ireland from April 11-14.

Thank you, Alexander [De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium], it is good to be ‘the new kid on the block’ with my friends around the North Sea, the emerging, biggest energy region, potentially, in the world. Norway is, as you said, the largest provider of energy to Europe. That situation was emphasized last year; we were able to increase our export of gas by some 8-10 percent; that represent 100 TWh of extra energy into Europe. And – we will be able to maintain that for the next few years, so that we can forward the transition.
