Ο Αντιπρόεδρος της Βουλής και Βουλευτής Δυτικής Αττικής, Θανάσης Μπούρας, υποδέχθηκε στη Βουλή των Ελλήνων τους μαθητές της Ε’ και ΣΤ’ τάξης του 2^ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Ελευσίνας, τη Διευθύντρια, κα Ψωμά Ρωξάνη, καθώς και άλλους εκπαιδευτικούς-συνοδούς.

Οι μαθητές περιηγήθηκαν, αρχικά, στην  Έκθεση για την επανάσταση του 1821 «Αντικρίζοντας την Ελευθερία! Στη Βουλή των Ελλήνων, 2 αιώνες μετά» θαυμάζοντας τα μοναδικά κινητά τεκμήρια (εφημερίδες, χειρόγραφα, γλυπτά, πίνακες ζωγραφικής) τόσο στο Περιστύλιο όσο και στην Αίθουσα Τροπαίων και Υπασπιστών (πλέον Αίθουσα Ελευθερίου Βενιζέλου).

Επίσκεψη του Αντιπροέδρου της Νέας Δημοκρατίας και Υπουργού Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων Άδωνι Γεωργιάδη και βουλευτών της Νέας Δημοκρατίας
στον νομό Ρεθύμνης

Ένας νέος κύκλος επισκέψεων της Νέας Δημοκρατίας, σε ολόκληρη τη χώρα, άνοιξε σήμερα στο νομό Ρεθύμνης.

Στόχος των επισκέψεων των μελών της Κυβέρνησης και της Κοινοβουλευτικής Ομάδας είναι η προβολή του έργου της Κυβέρνησης, και του Πρωθυπουργού Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη αλλά και η επικοινωνία του τρόπου εφαρμογής, του σε τοπικό κάθε φορά επίπεδο.

Σε αυτή την πρώτη επίσκεψη, ο Αντιπρόεδρος της Νέας Δημοκρατίας και Υπουργός Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων Άδωνις Γεωργιάδης βρέθηκε στον νομό Ρεθύμνης μαζί με τον βουλευτή Φωκίδας Ιωάννη Μπούγα, τον βουλευτή Ηρακλείου Μάξιμο Σενετάκη και τον βουλευτή Δωδεκανήσου Μάνο Κόνσολα. Παρών ήταν και ο βουλευτής του νομού Ρεθύμνης Γιάννης Κεφαλογιάννης.

Ο Αντιπρόεδρος του κόμματος και τα μέλη της Κοινοβουλευτικής Ομάδας της ΝΔ, επισκέφτηκαν το Βιομηχανικό χώρο της CRETA FARM, το αλιευτικό καταφύγιο «Σκαλέτας», το εργοτάξιο του 16ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Ρεθύμνης καθώς και το Γενικό Νομαρχιακό Νοσοκομείο Ρεθύμνης. Παράλληλα τα μέλη του κλιμακίου πραγματοποίησαν συναντήσεις με τον Σεβασμιώτατο Μητροπολίτη Ρεθύμνης και Αυλοποτάμου Πρόδρομο ενώ στο Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο Ρεθύμνης, είχαν την ευκαιρία να συνομιλήσουν με τα μέλη του διοικητικού συμβουλίου και παραγωγικούς φορείς του νομού.

Ακόμα τα στελέχη της Κυβέρνησης και της κοινοβουλευτικής ομάδας συμμετείχαν σε μια ανοιχτή Νομαρχιακή Συνέλευση της ΔΕΕΠ Ρεθύμνου, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε υπό το συντονισμό του Προέδρου της Εμμμανουήλ Φορφουλάκη και με την παρουσία στελεχών από όλο τον νομό.

Ο Υπουργός Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων και Αντιπρόεδρος της ΝΔ Άδωνις Γεωργιάδης ανέφερε σε δηλώσεις του: «Η επίσκεψή μου σήμερα στο Ρέθυμνο, ένα δυναμικό νομό της Κρήτης, στο εργοστάσιο της Creta Farms, ένα αλιευτικό καταφύγιο κι ένα σχολείο που κατασκευάζονται μέσω του ΕΣΠΑ και οι συναντήσεις μου με τους παραγωγικούς φορείς σηματοδοτούν ακριβώς τις προτεραιότητες της Κυβέρνησής μας: την αύξηση της προστιθέμενης αξίας της ελληνικής παραγωγής μέσα από νέες επενδύσεις και βαρύτητα στις εξαγωγές και την προώθηση νέων, σύγχρονων υποδομών σ’ όλη τη χώρα με διπλό όφελος, τόσο στην ανάπτυξη όσο και στη βελτίωση της καθημερινότητας του πολίτη. Με όραμα και σχέδιο, με έργα και πρωτοβουλίες, με αποτελεσματική αξιοποίηση των ευρωπαϊκών και εθνικών πόρων, δημιουργούμε την Ελλάδα που θέλουμε: την Ελλάδα της παραγωγής, της ανταγωνιστικότητας, της καινοτομίας, της ποιότητας, που νοιάζεται και μεριμνά για τα παιδιά της σε κάθε γωνιά της επικράτειας».

«Στο Ρότερνταμ πραγματοποιήθηκε το Συνέδριο του Ευρωπαϊκού Λαϊκού Κόμματος στο οποίο συμμετείχε ο πρόεδρος της Νέας Δημοκρατίας και Πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης.

Κατά τη διάρκεια των εργασιών του Συνεδρίου, στο οποίο η Νέα Δημοκρατία συμμετείχε με ισχυρή παρουσία, εξελέγη στην προεδρία του ΕΛΚ ο Manfred Weber, ενώ ο ειδικός σύμβουλος του Πρωθυπουργού για τα ευρωπαϊκά θέματα με έδρα τις Βρυξέλλες Θανάσης Μπακόλας εξελέγη Γενικός Γραμματέας του ΕΛΚ, απολαμβάνοντας τεράστιας αποδοχής, αφού συγκέντρωσε ποσοστό 83,9%.

Η εκλογή του κ. Μπακόλα σε μια τόσο σημαντική θέση στην ηγεσία της Ευρωπαϊκής κεντροδεξιάς οικογένειας αποτελεί την αδιαμφισβήτητη αναγνώριση της παρουσίας και της πολιτικής της Κυβέρνησης της Νέας Δημοκρατίας και του Πρωθυπουργού Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη, αλλά και των δράσεων του κόμματος σε διεθνές και ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο.

«Η επίσκεψη του Αλέξη Τσίπρα στη Λέσβο αποτελεί άλλη μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία, να διαπιστώσει ο ίδιος τη διαφορά ανάμεσα στη δική του καταστροφική διακυβέρνηση και στην τριετία ανάκαμψης του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη. Του συνιστούμε να επισκεφτεί το νέο Κέντρο Υποδοχής και Ταυτοποίησης Προσφύγων και Μεταναστών του Καρά Τεπέ. Αμέσως μετά, μπορεί να περάσει μια βόλτα από τη Μόρια, εκεί που επί των ημερών του βρισκόταν, ο καταυλισμός της ντροπής με χιλιάδες ανθρώπους να ζουν σε άθλιες συνθήκες. Αν η παραπάνω σύγκριση δεν του αρκεί, μπορεί να συνομιλήσει με τους πολίτες. Θα του εξηγήσουν πώς μειώθηκαν οι ροές, πώς αποσυμφορήθηκαν τα νησιά του Βορείου Αιγαίου ενώ μπορεί να ζητήσει και από το Λιμενικό να του εξηγήσει ότι η θάλασσα έχει σύνορα τα οποία φυλάσσονται. Επίσης θα πληροφορηθεί ότι δρομολογήθηκαν άμεσα οι διαδικασίες για το φράγμα Τσικνιά ενώ αν επισκεφτεί το Σίγρι, θα δει πώς υλοποιείται άλλο ένα έργο που επί ημερών του είχε παγώσει.


ΥΓ: Μιας και η επίσκεψη θα είναι διήμερη, ας επισκεφτεί και τη Μυτιλήνη. Τα ίδια θα του πουν και εκεί…».

ACTIVISION BLIZZARD CLAIMS PROCESS IS OPEN Current and Former Employees Encouraged to File a Claim of Sexual Harassment, Pregnancy Discrimination, and Related Retaliation to Share in $18 Million Claim Fund   LOS ANGELES – On March 30, 2022, a federal court approved the settlement of a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against Activision Blizzard, Inc., Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., Activision Publishing, Inc., and King.com, Inc. (collectively referred to as “Activision Blizzard”), and the entities’ subsidiaries. In the lawsuit, the EEOC alleged that Activision Blizzard violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, by engaging in unlawful employment practices by subjecting employees to sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, and/or related retaliation. Judge Dale Fischer of U.S. District Court for the Central District of California found the settlement, including the claims process and the claim fund, was “fair, reasonable and adequate and advance[s] the public interest.” Participating in the claims process is voluntary and free, and submitting a claim does not obligate or commit the claimant. In addition to providing monetary relief, the claims process permits claimants to request specific non-monetary relief, such as removing from your personnel file harmful documents like disciplinary notices or write-ups received as a result of being subjected to sex harassment, pregnancy discrimination and/or related retaliation; claimants also may request that the employer change a record of unfair termination to a resignation. Claims can be made by any current or former employee who: believes they experienced sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, and/or related retaliation while employed by any of the defendants; experienced such incidents between the period of Sept. 1, 2016 to March 29, 2022; and worked for or at any U.S. location of Activision Blizzard, Blizzard Entertainment, Activision Publishing, or King.com (or any of their subsidiaries). Locations include Wisconsin, New York, Minnesota, California, Texas, and Arkansas.   The EEOC encourages individuals who believe they have a claim to visit www.eeocactivisionblizzardconsentdecree.com for more information and to complete a claim form. The EEOC will use this information to determine your eligibility to receive a settlement award along with the amount of that award.   The $18 million settlement fund is available now. The process for submitting a claim and accepting an award is completely voluntary. However, if you do not make a claim, you will not be able to participate in the process or receive any compensation. If you make a claim and then receive notification of eligibility with an allocation of money from the settlement fund, you will receive one hour of free consultation with a private plaintiff’s attorney so you can ask questions before deciding whether to accept an award.
