In trying times, when people are searching for answers, libraries are an invaluable resource. For that reason the Council Library has compiled a list of relevant and authoritative resources related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
It includes books and articles, podcasts and videos, databases, websites and EU publications.
The list is by no means exhaustive. The roots of this conflict go deep. The situation is changing on a daily basis.
But the resources included in this guide can help enhance your understanding of the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
EU response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine
The European Union condemned in the strongest possible terms Russia's unprovoked and unjustified military aggression against Ukraine.
In response to Russia's aggression, the EU has shown unity and strength and has provided coordinated humanitarian, political, financial and material support to Ukraine.
The EU stands in full solidarity with Ukraine and commends the people of Ukraine for their courage in defending their country.
