Boghosian) On November 13, President Trump announced trade deals with El Salvador, Argentina, Ecuador, and Guatemala. The historic deals open key Western Hemisphere markets to American goods and strengthen U.S. supply chains and national security. The trade deals will: - Ease regulatory hurdles
- Give U.S. businesses access to new markets for agriculture, digital services, and pharmaceuticals
- Boost exports for farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, and small businesses

Boghosian) On November 19, Secretary Rubio and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan signed the Strategic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partnership. This deal combines American technological leadership with Saudi Arabia’s energy resources and investment to build advanced AI infrastructure and semiconductor supply chains. The new framework grants Saudi Arabia access to world-leading American chips and systems while ensuring strong protections for U.S. technology. This partnership is part of a broader suite of economic and defense initiatives agreed to by President Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman this week, which includes a commitment from Saudi Arabia to increase investments in the United States to nearly $1 trillion. "The U.S.-Saudi friendship is now a partnership for the future. President Trump's historic agreements with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from defense to investment, will create quality jobs for Americans and will grow our economy," Secretary Rubio said on X. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Republic of Cyprus Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos in Washington this week. (StateDept.) On November 17, Secretary Rubio welcomed the Republic of Cyprus Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Kombos discussed strengthening transatlantic cooperation during Cyprus’s upcoming EU Council presidency. The Secretary thanked Cyprus for supporting regional security and providing humanitarian aid to Gaza. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Kombos also explored ways to expand energy security and collaboration. |
