- EU WMP prices: 338€/100 kg, -2.8% in the last 4 weeks;
- EU cheddar prices: 435€/100kg, -0.8% in the last 4 weeks;
- IT’s spot milk price down at 43.3c/kg (23.11.2025);
- Feed cost increased by 1.6% and energy cost by 3.8% in week 47 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
- The USA is more price competitive on butter & cheddar, while EU on SMP and Oceania on WMP;
- In Jan-July 2025/24 EU butter exports went up to the USA by 28% and to the UK by 2%, while decreased to China by 10%; EU cheese exports went up to the UK 8%, to the USA 2% while decreased to Japan 4%;
- During the same period, EU SMP exports went down to Algeria 37% but up to Saudia Arabia 34% and to Indonesia 58% ;
- EU WMP exports decreased to the UK by 15% and to Oman by 3% but increased to Kuwait by 1%;
- In Jan- July 2025/24, NZ exports increased for butter/(oil) 12%, cheese 18% while decreased for SMP 7% and WMP 5%;
- US dairy exports in Jan- July 2025 were up for butter(oil) 150%, cheese 14% and WMP 53%; while were down for SMP 12%;
- Chinese imports of butter(oil) (+13%), cheese (+12%), wheypowder (+14%), SMP (+1%), and lactose (+23%) were up in Jan- July 2025/24, while imports of WMP (-1%), caseines (-24%) and condensed (-21%) were down.
