In Thailand, Charles Klaikaew, 2024-2025 Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leader, launched a multi-country effort to help coal-dependent regions shift toward more sustainable economies




In Malta, Vladyslava Kravchenko, 2024–2025 Obama Foundation Europe Leader, is working to bring Para sports into schools. In 2024 alone, she helped reach over 3,000 students in 25 schools through workshops, school competitions, open days, and diversity weeks. 


In Australia, William Smith-Stubbs, 2019 Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leader, co-launched the Soften the F Up campaign, which is boldly challenging Australia’s toxic masculinity culture by urging young men to embrace vulnerability over stoicism.


In Brooklyn, Jibreel Jalloh, 2024-2025 Columbia University Scholar, started The Flossy Organization to fight inequality in his neighborhood using advocacy and local organizing. The group has already had a massive impact, shutting down plans for a harmful pesticide facility and helping bring city funding to support a gun violence prevention program
