Astronomy and Astrophysics Advisory Committee Meeting

The Astronomy and Astrophysics Advisory Committee is a federal advisory committee chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act at the recommendation of the Presidential Committee on the Organization and Management of Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics (COMRAA).

The purpose of this meeting is to provide advice and recommendations to the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on issues within the field of astronomy and astrophysics that are of mutual interest and concern to the agencies.

NSF IOS Virtual Office Hour

Thursday, August 21, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 18, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The NSF Division of Integrative Organismal Systems (NSF IOS) holds virtual office hours monthly, usually on the third Thursday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. These sessions provide information and Q&A on various topics, including funding opportunities, proposal guidance and tips, and other NSF IOS-related topics.
