NATO Deputy Secretary General to participate in a joint committee meeting at the European Parliament On Wednesday, 16 July 2025, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms Radmila Shekerinska, will take part in a joint meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and the Committee on Security and Defence (SEDE) for an exchange of views. NATO Secretary General to visit the United States of America On 14-15 July 2025, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Mark Rutte, will visit Washington D.C. The Secretary General will meet with the President of the United States, Mr. Donald J. Trump, the Secretary of State, Mr. Marco Rubio, and the Secretary of Defense, Mr. Pete Hegseth, as well as Members of Congress.
