NATO Secretary General visits Italy

NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, visited Italy today (12 June 2025), ahead of the Allied leaders’ Summit in The Hague later this month. He met Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and they took stock of final preparations for the Summit. He also participated in the meeting of the Weimar Plus group.

NATO Secretary General visits Sweden

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited Sweden on 13 June 2025, ahead of the Allied leaders’ Summit in The Hague later this month. He met with the Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.

Secretary General Rutte also took part in a panel discussion at the annual Bilderberg meeting, alongside the President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calviño and US Army General Chris Donahue.
