FOMO | FORUM OF MEMBER ORGANIZATION

From May 29th to June 1st, 2025, the European Youth Press (EYP) hosted the third edition of its annual Forum of Member Organisations (FOMO) in Berlin, Germany. This gathering brought together representatives from EYP’s Full and Observer Member Organisations for a long weekend of workshops, collaboration, and cultural exchange. The theme for this year’s event was "Constructive Dialogue: Strengthening Youth Media Collaboration & Inclusive Storytelling Across Europe."

Unlike the more formal General Assembly, FOMO offered a more relaxed and interactive environment focused on capacity-building and peer learning. Participants took part in keynote sessions, skills-based workshops, and hands-on fieldwork challenges exploring how constructive dialogue can empower youth media and contribute to inclusive storytelling across borders.

FOMO 2025 proved to be an energising and impactful experience for everyone involved. It reinforced the power of dialogue and diversity in shaping the future of youth media in Europe. We are already looking forward to what’s ahead – stay tuned for updates about our next major gathering, the General Assembly this autumn!

European Youth Press is now a Full Member of the European Youth Forum! 🩵

We’re proud to announce that the European Youth Press (EYP) is now officially a Full Member of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) - the largest platform of youth organisations in Europe.

As the only media-focused organisation in the network, EYP is uniquely positioned to represent the voices of young journalists and media makers across the continent. This milestone recognises our commitment to empowering youth through critical media literacy, inclusive storytelling, and active civic engagement.

Becoming a Full Member of YFJ marks an important step forward - not just for our organisation, but for youth media as a whole. We’re excited to collaborate with fellow members and contribute to shaping policies that support a more informed, engaged, and resilient generation of young people in Europe.
