Highlights

  • EU butter prices: 733€/100 kg, +0.1% in the last 4 weeks;
  • EU SMP prices: 245€/100 kg, -0.1% in the last 4 weeks;
  • EU WMP prices: 442€/100 kg, +1.2% in the last 4 weeks;
  • EU cheddar prices: 463€/100kg, +0.6 in the last 4 weeks;
  • IT spot milk up to 55.8c/kg (18.05.2025);
  • Feed cost decreased by -2.3% and energy cost by -3.9% in week 20 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
  • In March 2025, milk production decreased by -0.1% in AU while increased by +0.6% in NZ, +0.9% in the US and +4% in the UK;
  • GDT last auction (20.05.2025): general price index -0.9%, with registered price increase for: AMF (+0.9%), and a price decrease for butter (-1.5%),  Cheeses (-9.2%), SMP (-0.7%), Lactose (-13.2%) & WMP (-1%).
