Pulse Z Kick-off in Brussels!

Two weeks ago, European Youth Press joined the Pulse Z consortium in Brussels for the official kick-off meeting of an ambitious project set to revolutionize digital democracy for young Europeans aged 16-25.

In collaboration with our partners, we are focused on:
➡️ Empowering young voices to engage in European issues.
➡️ Inspiring action through journalism and digital content creation.
➡️ Supporting the next generation of media professionals to make an impact across Europe.

This meeting marked the start of an exciting journey to build a platform by youth, for youth—creating real engagement and amplifying young voices in media and activism.

The European Youth Press (EYP) is looking for a Financial and Administrative Officer to join us part-time (10–20 hrs/month) starting February 2025

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Manage finances, reimbursements, and budgets
🔹 Ensure compliance with German tax & legal systems
🔹 Work closely with our bookkeeper and notary

Perks of the Job:

💰 Paid position (Minijob possible)

EYP Board Meeting – Copenhagen 2024

In early January, the EYP Board met in Copenhagen to plan the year ahead, focusing on internal improvements, new projects, and financial sustainability.

Key discussions included Pulse Z, an initiative to boost youth engagement in media, as well as expanding EYP’s digital presence and outreach strategies. The Board also explored ways to strengthen collaboration with Member Organisations and secure new funding opportunities.

This meeting set the groundwork for an exciting and impactful year ahead, reinforcing EYP’s mission to empower young journalists and promote inclusive media. Stay tuned for what’s next!
