| | What's new? | | Improvements to the ECB corner | | We have made some improvements to the area of EUR-Lex dedicated to the European Central Bank: the ECB corner. | First, when you run a quick search that includes the term 'ECB' or its equivalent in any of the 24 EU official languages, you will now see two buttons leading straight to the ECB corner and to the banking supervision page, just above the filter options to the left of the page.
Second, We have added a ‘summaries of EU legislation’ section to the ECB corner, accessible via the left menu. The summaries are short, easy-to-understand explanations of the main EU legal acts in the fields of competence of the ECB. They provide information on both the content and the background of legal acts. You can read more about the ECB corner in the 'Rediscover EUR-Lex' section of this newsletter.
| | | Improvements to 'My saved items' | | We have improved the export function of the 'My saved items' feature on EUR-Lex. | When you are signed in, you can export any items that are saved in your 'My saved items' folders. You will receive an export of all the selected items, in the order in which they are displayed on EUR-Lex, including any that may be hidden on a second page when viewing online. | |
| | | Warning when an act has been amended | | As you may know, whenever there is a consolidated version of an act available, you are informed of this next to the 'in force' indicator when you are looking at the act. |
Now you will also be warned when there has been an initial amendment to an act, but the consolidated version is not yet available.
If you want to see details of what has been amended, you can click on 'document information' in the left menu and find out more.

| | Rediscover EUR-Lex | | More about the ECB corner | | You can browse by any EU institution via the main menu on EUR-Lex and find documents specific to that institution as well as specific search tools, information and links. | If you choose to browse by the European Central Bank, you will find all of this and more in our ECB corner. On the main page you can: - browse ECB documents by topic,
- use the dedicated search tools to find ECB documents and court cases relevant to the ECB,
- see recently published ECB documents, and
- see statistics at a glance.
There is a page dedicated to European banking supervision, where you can also browse by topic, see recently published documents and use the dedicated search tools. In the visual navigation section, you can delve deeper into statistics on ECB legal acts. You can browse by year, type of legal act or subject to see charts on legal acts adopted by the ECB, in both the monetary policy and the banking supervision fields. And as you read in the 'What's new?' section of this newsletter, we now have a section dedicated to summaries of legislation specific to the ECB. Why not take a moment to explore the ECB corner and see what it has to offer?
