To respond to the growing threats to the safety, security, and privacy of open source, NSF launched the Safety, Security, and Privacy of Open-Source Ecosystems (Safe-OSE) program. This new program seeks to fund impactful, mature open-source ecosystems to address important classes of safety, security, and privacy vulnerabilities.

About this lecture: How do we build a shared understanding of the importance of educational equity and our shared responsibility for creating environments that promote belonging, equity, and student success across all disciplines? What are promising strategies for sustaining a student-ready institution and for delivering on defined equity goals for students and educators? How does our commitment to equity influence decision-making across the institution? This presentation will provide an overview of evidence-based strategies to address these questions based on data collected from national projects focused on student success, equity, campus climate, and outlined in the books "From Equity Talk to Equity Walk," "Becoming A Student-Ready College," and "Strengthening Campus Communities through the Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Framework."
This distinguished lecture is hosted by NSF's Directorate for STEM Education.
