Feed cost decreased by -0.5% while energy cost increased by +0.5% in week 47 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
USA is more price competitive on Butter and Cheddar, EU on SMP & Oceania on WMP;
Jan-Sep 2024 EU cow’s milk collection increased by +0.5%; (+0.1% leap year adjusted); in Sep 2024 collection decreased by -0.2%;
In Sep 2024, milk production increased by +1.4% in AU , +4.1% in NZ, +0.1% in the US and +1.8% in the UK;
Evolution of EU dairy production in Jan-Sep 2024: butter (-2.2%), SMP (-0.1%); WMP (-0.6%), condensed (+8.5%), cream (+3.4%), drinking milk (+0.8%), fermented milk (+4%), cheese (+2.8%).
