Check out the New WWI Memorial on CBS News Sunday Morning

This past weekend, the National WWI Memorial was featured on CBS News Sunday Morning. Correspondent Faith Salie spoke with Joe Weishaar and Sabin Howard about the journey of getting the memorial and sculpture approved and built. The piece also features the Doughboy Foundation's legacy of Daily Taps in honor of our nation's heroes.

Thank you so much to all The Doughboy Foundation’s supporters for tuning in and sharing the piece online. Our work to honor the heroism and sacrifice of the 4.7 million Americans who served in WWI, the War that Changed the World, could not be more important.

Feeling inspired? Consider making a donation to pay tribute to those who served in the trenches over a century ago.
