What's New?

Improved left menu on the document page

We have improved the left menu on the document page by reordering some items.

Links and download options are at the top, followed by Save to My items and Create an RSS alert.

Some features can only be used if you sign in, and these features will remain grey until you do.

Changes to the EUR-Lex homepage

As part of a revamp of all the Publications Office websites, EUR-Lex has a new header and footer.

You can now see the European Union flag at the top of the header. If you click on the flag, you will be directed to europa.eu, the European Union website.

Just underneath the flag you can see the heading 'EUR-Lex'. If you click here from any page on EUR-Lex, you will be directed back to the EUR-Lex homepage.

There are also some changes in the colours and fonts.

The footer is now in two parts. At the top of the footer you can see useful links to EUR-Lex pages and related websites. At the bottom you can see links more widely related to the European Union.

You can also see some new fixed banners to the right-hand side of the home page. These banners provide direct links to pages on specific topics such as EU measures in solidarity with Ukraine.

Accessibility

We have adapted the colours of various elements of the website to ensure that the contrast between words and their backgrounds is at a suitable level for the widest range of users.

Moreover, we have continued our efforts to improve the EUR-Lex code to make sure that the website works well with assistive technologies.
