Agricultural markets dashboard – poultry meat View the latest update Related links EU poultry policy | EU agricultural markets short-term outlook Latest update Dashboard: Milk and dairy products Highlights EU avg. farm gate milk prices decreased to 46.09 c/kg in April 2024, -0.6% compared to March 2024 and -3% compared to March 2023; estimated price for May 2024: 46.22 c.kg (+0.3%); IT spot milk price still rising, now at 53.3 c/kg (02.06.2024); EU butter prices: 623€/100 kg, +5.1% in the last 4 weeks; EU SMP prices: 246€/100 kg, +2% in the last 4 weeks; EU WMP prices: 377€/100 kg, +2.7% in the last 4 weeks; EU cheddar prices: 390€/100kg, -0.3% in the last 4 weeks;  Feed costs increased by +2.6% while energy costs decreased by -2.3% in week 22 compared to the previous 4 weeks; Compared to March 2024, the April 2024 milk price decreased in US (37.21/kg; -3.2%) and in NZ (32.95c/kg; -0.7%); GDT last auction (04.06.2024): general price index +1.7%, with registered price increase for: AMF (+0.9%), butter (+1.7%), BMP (+10.4%), Cheeses (+02%), SMP (+3) and WMP (+1.7%), and a price decrease for Lactose (-1.9%).
