Latest update Dashboard: Milk and dairy products Highlights EU avg. farm gate milk prices slightly increased to 46.39 c/kg in March 2024, +0.2% compared to previous month and -7.7% compared to March 2023; Estimated price for April 2024: 46.31 c.kg (-0.2%); IT spot milk price up, now at 43.8 c/kg (05.05.2024); EU butter prices: 579€/100 kg, +0.9% in the last 4 weeks; EU SMP prices: 238€/100 kg, -0.9% in the last 4 weeks; EU WMP prices: 361€/100 kg, -0.02% in the last 4 weeks; EU cheddar prices: 392€/100kg, +0.3% in the last 4 weeks; Feed costs increased by +4% while energy costs decreased by -2.3% in week 18compared to the previous 4 weeks; Compared to Feb 2024, the March 2024 milk price is slightly up in US (38.5/kg; +1.1%) and down in NZ (33.2c/kg; -1.4%).
