A NASA-led effort involving several U.S. agencies led to the creation of the U.S. Greenhouse Gas Center. The innovative architecture of the Center ensures that these Earth science data are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).

An analysis of data products shows that more than half of the continental U.S. experienced an unseasonably warm February. In addition, the California coast was hit with heavy rain, while tropical cyclones impacted Australia. A small amount of rain also was detected in the Sahara Desert.

NASA will fund 6 to 10 citizen science projects under the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences 2024 (ROSES-2024) solicitation. Notices of Intent (NOI) are due by April 15, 2024; proposals are due by May 14, 2024.
