Hi there,
The energy around the NCAA basketball championship tournament—from the incredible men’s and women’s teams to the debates surrounding bracket picks—reminds us, including President Obama, of our love of competition, especially basketball, during this time of year. And here at the Obama Foundation, we’re not just fans of the game,
we’re committed to empowering young leaders through transformative experiences. President Obama has always believed that sports have the power to bring us together. Over the last few years, thanks to a collaboration with the Final Four, we’ve had the privilege of sending a group of young men who are a part of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance to the tournament for an unforgettable experience. From taking a look behind-the-scenes to hands-on training, these talented young people had an all-access pass to one of the biggest weekends in college sports, gaining invaluable skills and inspiration along the way.
