Celebrating Lunar New Year at the BSM Join us on Sunday February 4th for crafts and a special performance from Lion Dance Toronto to commemorate the coming Lunar New Year. Lion Dance Toronto will be bringing the museum to life with two colourful, energetic performances at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. Included with general admission (Free on Sundays) LEARN MORE Valentine's Day Plans  Valentine's Day is fast approaching and we'll be stepping back in time for the raddest 1980s-themed Prom Party on Wednesday, February 14 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.  In anticipation of the event as well as the upcoming release of Lisa Frankenstein, we've partnered with Universal Pictures Canada on our Instagram account to win tickets to the event as well as the advanced screening of the movie taking place on February 5. The contest runs until Friday February 2 at 12:00 pm EST. We’ve teamed up with the The Bentway to offer activities for the whole family that celebrate the history of skating, inspired by our online exhibition Boots and Blades: The Story of Canadian Figure Skating. LEARN MORE 80s Extravaganza: The Breakfast Club Bust out your finest flannel, your snazziest Air Jordans and Molly Ringwald-approved preppy princess pearls, for a rollicking screening of the John Hughes classic in partnership with Hot Docs on Saturday, March 30 at 4:00 pm. After the screening, you'll have a chance to listen to a special Q&A on 80s footwear and fashion with our Curator and Manager of Exhibitions Nishi Bassi!
