The start of a new school year means the start of another Obama Foundation Futures Series, a program that exposes Hyde Park Academy students to new career pathways through intimate conversations with accomplished leaders.
This year’s first installment was a conversation with Grammy-award winning poet J. Ivy, a Chicago native who has worked with artists like John Legend. J. Ivy joined the students to share inspiration and encouragement to help them envision a creative future for themselves.
