COP28: Norway to provide NOK 270 million to new climate fund

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre announced at the UN climate summit (COP28) in Dubai that Norway will provide NOK 270 million to the new fund for loss and damage associated with climate change (Loss and Damage Fund).

Norway has delivered the first F-16’s to Romania

– Three pilots from Romania will take off from Rygge Airfield this week with three overhauled F-16 back home to Romania. The purchase of F-16 will aid in the modernization and defence of Romania, an allied nation in NATOs eastern flank, that also share boarders with Ukraine. It is an important milestone that we are marking today, when these fighter jets are delivered to Romania, states Minister of Defence Bjørn Arild Gram (Centre Party).
