A Message from Our Executive Director

Brothers:

Yesterday was GivingTuesday. This concept was created in 2012 and has become a global movement stemming from a simple idea, encouraging people to do good.

In the years since its inception, GivingTuesday has brought attention to some of the most worthy charitable causes and programs. As Ahepans, we have answered every GivingTuesday call and taken it a step further. We've turned it into an entire week, and whether in word, act or deed, for five days beginning on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving we donate generously to programs which benefit charities we care about and help as many as we can that are in need.

Since its founding in 1922, AHEPA has donated millions of dollars in aid. During the great depression, AHEPA worked tirelessly to feed hungry families. During World War II, we worked together to raise $350,000,000 in War Bond sales to pay for armaments, food, clothing for our servicemen and women. In the 1950’s and 60's we raised millions in aid for Greece thought the War Relief efforts and we built hospitals and medical centers. Throughout our Century of Service, AHEPA took the lead.

AHEPA is asking, during this season of Giving, that EVERY member to donate $100 to an AHEPA cause. We've included some helpful donation links for you below. If you would like to learn more about our programs, please visit ahepa.org. Your tax deductible donation can help a brother or his family in a desperate time of need.

For AHEPA Programs that benefit those in need, donate to:

Greeks in Miami Sponsorships Now Available!

Greeks in Miami is one of the most successful Sons & Maids events of the year, attracting hundreds of young professionals from across the United States and Canada, and that's in part because of the support they get from AHEPA Family Members and Friends. The majority of event proceeds from weekend packages, tournament fees, and sponsorships go directly to the SOP & MOA national project or their other philanthropic endeavors.

This year's National Project is the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, an organization that strives to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. You are invited to become a sponsor of Greeks in Miami to support not just the Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena, but their National Project as well. Sponsorships are available on an individual or corporate level by downloading the form below or visiting the link below to purchase one through the Sons of Pericles website.
