Michelle Obama:Will you help me celebrate Barack’s birthday?

 

Hi there,   Today is Barack’s birthday, and I need your help to celebrate!   Barack has always believed in the power of what people can do when we come together. It’s something he learned in his days as a community organizer, and it’s what fueled his campaigns and his presidency. So for his birthday, I’m hoping you’ll help us celebrate by either writing a note to Barack about how you’re making a difference in your community or making a contribution to the Obama Foundation to help us empower the next generation of leaders and bring the Obama Presidential Center to life.   Our work is guided by the belief that change can only happen when people speak up, take action, and get involved. I can’t think of a better way to recognize my husband’s birthday than by showing him how he’s inspired this community to make the world a little better and brighter.  Being a part of Barack’s birthday celebration will mean so much to him, so please, leave a note or make a gift today.  I hope to hear from you. –Michelle
