Peru formally accepts Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies
Peru deposited its instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies on 19 July, bolstering the ranks of leading marine fishing producers that have affirmed support for the historic agreement for ocean sustainability. Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz presented Peru’s instrument of acceptance to Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in Geneva, Switzerland.

WTO issues new edition of “One-Page Case Summaries”
The WTO has issued a new print edition of “WTO Dispute Settlement: One-Page Case Summaries”, a biennial publication providing succinct summaries of every panel and Appellate Body report adopted by the WTO’s Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) up to the end of 2022. It also includes summaries of panel reports circulated to WTO members — and published on the WTO website — which have not yet been adopted by the DSB as they remain subject to pending appeals.
