AHEPA Supreme Convention:update

Attention all AHEPA Family members, Delegates, Alternates and Guests!

Supreme Convention is right around the corner! By now you should have booked your hotel room, registered for your packages, and arranged your transportation to Las Vegas! In this email, we'll go over answers to some of the most frequently asked questions that headquarters staff get before Supreme Convention so when you arrive in Las Vegas, you know exactly what you're doing.

Registration
AHEPA & Guests
AHEPA and Guest Registration will take place Monday, July 24th from 9am to 5pm and Tuesday, July 25th from 9am to 6pm. Delegates who have pre-registered should come prepared with their photo ID to the registration area outside the Platinum Room in the Horseshoe Hotel.

Reminder that 2023 Per Capita dues must be paid for delegates and alternates to pick up their packages at convention. Please double check with your chapters and make sure they have sent in your dues before you arrive in order to expedite your registration. Feel free to contact AHEPA Global Headquarters if you have any questions as to whether or not you are in good standing.

If you have not preregistered, on site registration will be available. This will be in a SEPARATE line that will be clearly marked. Please make sure you get in the correct line and do not get in a line for pre-registered package pick up, that will result in you standing in lines for a lot longer than anybody wants you to.
Daughters of Penelope, Sons of Pericles & Maids of Athena
Daughters of Penelope Registration will be open Monday, July 24th at 9am-3pm and Tuesday, July 25th from 9am - 5pm INSIDE the Daughters of Penelope General Session in the Bronze Meeting Rooms at the Horseshoe Hotel.

Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena may pick up their packages at the AHEPA Registration desk with Youth Coordinator Stephanie Maniatis during regular AHEPA Registration hours. If arriving after Tuesday, they can pick up their packages from the Maids of Athena Grand Lodge or Sons of Pericles Supreme Lodge.
A La Carte Tickets
Tickets to convention events will be available for purchase on an individual basis on site only while supplies last. You will be able to purchase these tickets at the registration desk after 2pm on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets will be priced as follows:

  • AHEPA Family Awards Brunch (7/25) - $100

  • AHEPA Family Athletic Luncheon (7/26) - $100

  • AHEPA Poolside Founders Day Celebration (7/26) - $100

  • AHEPA Family Grand Banquet & Ball (7/27) - $300

What Do We Wear?
The most frequent question we get at headquarters is what should people wear to convention events? First and foremost, we ask you to please keep in mind that we will be in Las Vegas. The predicted weather for the week of convention offers highs of 107-110 and lows of 79-86. While only one of our events is outside (our poolside Founders Day Event on July 26th), everything else will be inside either the Horseshoe or Paris Hotel.

General accepted dress code is casual, save for meetings, where you will be expected to dress business casual.

The Grand Banquet is the only event that people will dress up for. Gentlemen will be okay in a sportsjacket or business attire. Ladies will be okay in cocktail attire.
How Do We Get to the Hotels?
Once you arrive in Las Vegas, the easiest and quickest way to get to the Horseshoe or Paris is to take a taxi or to use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft to pick you up. Ceasars is a partner with Uber and offers designated pickup and drop off areas at both the Horseshoe and the Paris. Learn more HERE!
Where Can We Eat?
