WHO outlines 40 research priorities on antimicrobial resistance

WHO has published its first global research agenda for the world’s scientists to address the most urgent human health priorities to combat antimicrobial resistance. It outlines 40 research topics.



A new investment platform to strengthen primary health care (PHC)

The Platform will make an initial €1.5 billion available to LICs and LMICs in concessional loans and grants to expand the reach and scope of their PHC services, especially for the most vulnerable and underserved populations and communities.



WHO and Global Citizen sign collaboration agreement

The main objectives will be to support efforts to overcome inequities that people face in accessing health services and attaining the highest levels of physical and mental health, and addressing the health-related challenges posed by climate change.
