American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association,update

American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association
Attention all AHEPA Family members, Delegates, Alternates and Guests!

Tomorrow, Friday, June 30th, is the LAST day to pre-register for the AHEPA Supreme Convention in Las Vegas and get your delegate, alternate & guest packages at lower prices. You have the option of registering online or by sending us a form via fax, mail or email, so long as it's postmarked by June 30th. Registration will close at midnight July 1st and open once again when we're on site in Las Vegas!

AHEPANS, please remember that you will NOT be able to register as a delegate or alternate unless your chapter has reported you as one. The delegate/alternate reporting forms were due to HQ by June 1st. If you believe that your chapter did not send one in and are planning to come to convention as a delegate, PLEASE contact admin@ahepa.org immediately with the proper forms so your case can be reviewed.

Another reminder, 2023 Per Capita dues must be paid for delegates and alternates to pick up their packages at convention. Please double check with your chapters and make sure they have sent in your dues before you arrive in order to expedite your registration. Feel free to contact AHEPA Global Headquarters if you have any questions as to whether or not you are in good standing.

Lastly, we do anticipate having individual event tickets being available for purchase. They will be available for purchase on site only, and prices will be advertised in advance once we have them.
Chapter Convention Sponsorship
There's still time to put you or your chapter's name on the Supreme Convention! Sponsorship opportunities are still available on multiple levels until July 3rd! Please see the forms linked below for your options if you are interested! We would love to see each chapter represented as a convention sponsor!
AHEPA Publications Committee Contest
Annually, the AHEPA Publications committee selects the first place winner for Publication of the Year. In recent years, there has been a back and forth competition between District 5 and 7. While we do not want to discredit the efforts of these districts, we want to make sure all of our Districts know about and participate in this contest!

The Publications Committee will review and select winners in three categories:

  1. District Newsletter – printed copies of your district newsletter must be mailed to the chairman of the Publications committee, Brother John Melonopoulos. This MUST be a hard copy submission.
  2. Electronic District Newsletter – This edition of the newsletter must be sent via email to the chairman of the Committee, his email is john.melonopoulos@comcast.net
  3. Chapter Notices – This is the monthly or quarterly newsletter or meeting notices which chapters send to their members. This MUST be also hard copied. These can be mailed to the Chairman of the Committee.

All publications must be submitted by July 17. Winners will be announced at the Supreme Convention. All entries MUST have the name and title of the editor of the newsletter, address and Chapter and District.

All submissions must be sent by U.S. Mail to:

Publications Committee Chairman
John Melonopoulos
14-B Hartung Place
Old Lyme, CT 06371-2230

Electronic District Newsletters do not have to mailed in. Chapter Notifications MUST all be mailed in regardless of they are electronic or not.

Good Luck!
